©Ahmad Hasaballah/ZUMAPRESS.com/MAXPPP - September 14, 2018 - Dozens of Palestinian protesters are injured by Israeli live fire and tear gas during clashes along the Gaza-Israeli border east of Gaza City and near the Israeli outpost of Nahal Oz during today’s ‘Great March of Return’ rally. According to the Gaza health ministry three Palestinians, including a 12-year-old boy, Shadi Abed Elall, were killed by Israeli army fire, while over 200 Palestinians were injured during today’s protests, 120 of whom by Israeli live fire. Around 13,000 Palestinians, included many women and children, demonstrated today for the 26th consecutive Friday in several locations along the Gaza border with Israel. Today’s deaths bring to 177 the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire during the Great March of Return weekly protests that began in March 30th. Some Palestinian demonstrators burned tires and hurled stones at Israeli soldiers on the other side of the fence. According to Israeli sources an incendiary balloon launched from Gaza into Israel caused a fire in southern Israel and that few Palestinians breached the border and entered Israel before returning into Gaza.
