The four-day race with about 700 dogs this year and 100 mushers from 11 countries, including Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary and Poland, is the longest in the Czech Republic and one of the hardest races of its kind in Europe. Competitors have to cover 200 kms with one-night bivouac.
