Chile registers more than 7,000 infections by covid-19 for the fifth consecutive day

The Chilean health authorities reported on Monday 7,247 new cases of covid-19, surpassing for the fifth consecutive day the barrier of 7,000 infections per day, amid a strong pandemic onslaught that has more than 16 million people under quarantine in the country.
