BANGLADESH : Drying Colorful Fabrics
©Joy Saha/ZUMAPRESS.com/MAXPPP - May 12, 2022, Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh: Thousands of pieces of dyed cloth are spread out across a field, which covers approximately 10,000 square ft, at Batik Village in Narayanganj, Bangladesh for drying - a process that usually takes 4 hours as it is cheaper and more sustainable to dry them out in sunlight. The dyed fabrics, used in garment factories making T-shirts and women's dresses which sell for less than 3 Ã?£, are arranged on patches of grass to dry out completely.
